timing chain noise
i think ktm has a problem with timing chain tensioners not only in 690's but also in 990's. i own both types of bike & they both "rattle" on idle speeds. spoke with american company "dirt tricks" & they in process of producing alternative tensioner for these later engines. still going to try to get help from ktm but as i live in greece, you dont get a lot of help from your supplying dealer, even though you spend over 20,000 euros with them !! should have bought a gs 1
