Firstly if that bike is a 98 200 exc, then it has a hydraulic clutch.

I would not change any clutch components until you at least
make sure you have fluid in the clutch master cylinder.

If there is, but there is a leak where your red circle is, that's the slave
cylinder, and that would cause your clutch to no engage.

I always start with the cheapest easiest things to troubleshoot, then
work your way up.

Is there fluid, is there a leak, where is the leak?
