Just got back from 300kms of tight country scratching with a gixxer750, gixxer thou, super duke and the R was leaving them all in the corners and hanging with them up to well over 100mph for extended periods of time. Can sit it flat chat at 180kph all day with no drama.

My mates normal 690 would not have done this. Also, my R has suspension full soft everywhere and it works perfectly for me. Factory setting are WAY to hard for me, makes me slower. The full soft setting with a touch more preload on the back results in absolutely jaw dropping handling. Sport bike riders who run with me are amazed that the little single pot can humble them.

I also have an MV F41000 and a Brutale 1078, but god I love this little duke more than anything I have ever had.

Did you have your bike parked at the bottom of someones driveway at Church Point a couple of weekends ago?
