640 LC4 died at red light, won't start

I'm not good with electrical so I need some advice.
My Adventure-R (year 2000) 640 was running awsome, then I stopped at a red light and it just shut off like a kill switch moment. Full of gas and has new statar, voltage reg and six month old battery.

When I turn the key on, the green neutral light barely lights up and that's it. For some reason I can't even kick start it. I charged up the battery and now she will turn over for a second, then the voltage reg will click, click, click. and that's it. I recharge the battery and same thing. could it be the starter?

This sounds like something simple?? but I don't know. Anyone have any advice?

It has been my experience with electrical problems that the first place to look would be for proper grounding.

All the fuses are OK?

No loose battery connections?

You say you can hear the solenoid clicking?

You should be able to ground the two big
studs coming out of the solenoid with a plastic handled
screw driver. If the starter turns, it's probably the solenoid.

If you can't kick start it, and you know how to, then I would
open up the kill switch control, and see if there is a break or
corrosion.
