Default Front Breaks Rubbing + Kill Switch Not Working

I just bought a 2004 KTM 125SX and it is my first dirt bike. So far I think I made a pretty good deal the only two problematic things I have noticed are that the front breaks rub and the kill switch doesn't work.

When I got the bike yesterday the breaks weren't rubbing and they worked. Then today I was riding and realized that the front break did absolutely nothing. I checked the fluid and it was empty so I went and got some filled it up and now the breaks work but when you use them they stay locked and gradually work a little bit free and then squeak as you push the bike.

And lastly the kill switch just simply does nothing. I see the wire runs to a little black box what could be the cause of it not working

I will check the kill switch diagram for you.

As far as the brakes, I would pull the front caliper off, and
take the caliper pistons out and check for contamination,
rust, or debris causing the piston to seize.

This can be common on older bikes that have never
had their brake fluid changed.

Thanks for the reply. I took the front brake caliper off but I can`t figure out how to get the pistons out? There is dirt and debris around them so they stick. When I spin them I can hear sand and dirt grinding.

This brake is more screwed up than I thought. Do the two black cylinders that move up and down press directly against the brake disc? In the parts diagram there are brake pads and a bolt with locking tabs on the bottom. I don't see that bolt or the brake pads..maybe it fell apart well I was riding.

The two black cylinders are right up against the brake disc so I don't see where the pads come in to play.

there should be two brake pads. one on each side of the disc, i use vise grips to push the cylinders back in place. then the pad goes in between the two black cylinders and the brake disc. the cylinders should not go right against the disc. buy new pads if you havent already. if you need more help let me know.
