crank case breather 560 smr

Alright can anyone help me out with photos or tell me how or where to mount a catch can for my crank case breather I have a hose routed into my airbox that is just destroying my filter and do I even need to have the hose routed into a can? Im not racing can I just zip tie the hose out of the way somewhere or does it need to be mounted somewhere where it can't get wet just a lil confused and any help would be great thanks -Bryce
