Easy question...hopefully

My 08 250sx has died the last two times I went out. Just bogged out and died as if there was no fuel, but tank was at least half full. First time I got home and changed the spark plug and it ran fine. Second time out same thing, just bogged out and died after 1/2 hour of riding. Am I missing something obvious? I run a 45:1 mixture, maybe just bad gas, I don't know, any ideas?

did you check the air filter? could be your carb too dumping too much gas

It might be the gas cap vent. If it's the one way type, sometimes they don't work right and will not allow the gas to properly flow. Try a different cap.
