2008 KTM 990 SuperDuke R, Fort Worth, Texas
This is an adult-owned, garage-kept, well cared for bike. I bought it new from a KTM/Aprilla dealer in June of 2009. It's an amazing ride, but due to some issues, I can't keep it. It originally sold for $15,598. I started out asking $12,700. I didn't have any luck at that price, so I am putting all my cards on the table. I am asking $10,000 as my bottom dollar.
With only 2000 miles, it was properly broken in and has had its first service by an Orange-certified mechanic at a local KTM dealer. The bike comes with a tank pad, a tank bag, the stock and taller windshield, the stock fenders and carbon-fiber fenders and chain-guard. I'm in Fort Worth, Texas.
The attached photo is a stock photograph. I don't have any photos of my own bike at the office with me today. If you are interested, I will send you some.
Thank you,
Daniel

Daniel,
I'd love to buy your ride, but my better half would snuff me.
Have you also tried craigslist, KTMtalk, and ADVrider?

I have it posted on some other forums, but not the ones you mentioned; I will have to look into those. I don't have much faith in Craig's list. I've used it before to sell some furniture and didn't have much luck.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Craigslist is sort of hit and miss.

Man! if you were in Southern California I'd be lookin' to work something out with you. I'm sure everybody not in Texas says the same thing. Good Luck with the sale.

It can be shipped. I bought it from a dealer in Phoenix and had it shipped to me in Fort Worth. If you are interested, I can put you in touch with the company that brought it to me.

Daniel,
I assume that you still have the bike? If so, could you let me know if it has ever been down, or if there are any mechanical issues. If not too inconvenient please also send some pics. I am currently shopping for regular SD, but might want the R if price not too different. Getting info on the differences between the regular SD and the SDR is difficult. Can you fill me in?
Thanks,
Barry
