Default Power Commander V for '08 SD?

I'm looking to buy a new '08 SD from a dealer at the end of the month and wondered if anyone knew if there were any changes made from the '08 SD to the '09 version, or if anyone had fitted a V.

cheers.

Just bought my new '08 SD at the weekend (paid $10,400). Still getting used to it, especially the V-twin engine. It seems real lumpy and the fueling needs some sorting I think. I would be interested to find out anyones experience with a Power Commander as well. Worth fitting? Does it make a big difference......and where the hell does it go? Doesn't seem like there's much space?

Thanks all.

I was about to get one of the "new" '08s but ended up buying a slightly used '07 which is on delivery now. A big reason for getting this bike is that it already had a PCIII and a Graves exhaust fitted and from everything I have read, the PC makes a huge difference smoothing out the fueling issue. The PC fits under the seat - probably more room there if you have done the "canisterectomy" and removed the black can from underneath the seat first.

I've ordered the motobox airbox as well which gets rave reviews on opening up the SD to it's full potential.

I have seen that some put a new throttle cam on from G2 that also smooths out the low rpm lurching.

Hey guys, I have been on superduke.net for a while and there is a lot of information.
Many say a custom map (dyno-tuned) with the PCIII makes a world of difference.

Yes. There is a lot more activity on the super duke forum and a lot of information about fueling issues etc... My SD is at the dyno shop right now after the motobox install. FYI, I didn't have any fuelling issues when I got it but it had the PCIII already installed.
