Cruising range : 990 Super Duke?

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could give me some feedback on the distance between fills possible for a reasonable pace highway cruise?

I probably should have checked this out before I put my money down today. It just looks like such a sweet bike I had to do it!! (picking up the white 990 tommorrow).

Had the bike out last night, I'm still breaking it in, so my rpm's were quite varied and I had a slight headwind. I would say I was averaging 130kph, and 5k+ rpm.

The fuel light went on at 200k, my next fuel stop was going to be close but I decided to try it. I kept up the pace but backed off to 100 kph at 250k and ran it out of fuel at 258k, (7k from my fuel stop.) .
Stupid, but now I know!!

I put in an estimated 4+ litres and then fueled up with and additional 13.5 litres, so 17.5 which seems about right.

So under average cruising conditions, I would say 250k cruising range is reliable.

P.S. This bike is awesome to ride!!
