Default Lifting A Duke 690

Hi all,

I was wondering if the 690 could be lifted from under the exhaust? If not what is the proper way to lift the bike to say change the front tire or remove the rear swing arm?

The manual doesnt cover this and I'm new to this syle of bike, thanks.

I'd be careful lifting a Duke from anywhere.

I know too many guys that messed up their backs lifting bikes.

This is what I use on my 640.

Nice, I have a similar one from Sears but I doubt that it can be used on the Dukes underslung exhaust and even if I remove the exhaust first, there is still no frame under the motor.

I'm about to purchase front and rear stands for the bike for tire, wheel and chain work. I wish I could just use the lift I have but that doesnt seem to be the case.

So it has a similar exhaust layout to the way Buell routes their exhausts.

Did not know about the lack of frame.
