I am having gpr full system and I am keeping the db-killer as I try to remove it and I found out that the exhaust gas is shooting my real tyre so I put the db-killer back .

Anyhow, next weekend the bike will go to a real KTM specialst that will get it sorted out.
Iīm sort of interested in the Evo1 map for the Duke. It would be nice to see what the difference to the Akra map is. I havenīt been able to obtain this, so if you are able to get hold of the files(preferably TuneECU HEX format, but any will do) it would be great. Bring a USB memory to the scene.

Duke is remapped with the Akra mappings as stated above and these work. Nice to see a KTM specialist at work instead of a mechanic " guessing" what map he should choose. Throttle position sensor was 2% off but already the remapping alone made a lot of difference. Definately not too lean anymore. Also did the restriction wire job and I must say this is how I imagined it would be. Smoother than before, pulls nicely from 3.000 rpm and feels stronger too. Big fun again and now with a nice sound (still have the db killer fitted and will keep it that way).
And it's soo fast around town, you gotta wacht out not to get fined by a speed camera fitted at the traffic lights, even from standstill, when you blast away when the light hits green.
Only some "hanging" around 2.000 rpm before falling back to idle rpm, but the warmer the engine gets the better that gets too.
Anyway, will have all the sensors checked and adjusted but that's not a job to scheduled on a busy day, so that will be done this winter.

How I love my Duke. I'll take it to the track next year to give it a go and round off the tires nicely :-) Not too much "twisties" around my place where you can enjoy. Especially now in autumn when there's a lot of leafs on the pavement, limiting grip.

Thatīs great. Yes, the akra map is definately a nice improvement on response as well as some smoothening. Iīve also done it even smoother check the TuneECU thread, if you havenīt already. Itīs very fulfilling to be able to remap yourself and to try out different settings.
For the "hanging" of about 2k rpm, this is due to fuel mappings when engine is cold. In warm state the low fuel mapping are used with lower idle rpm. All in perfect order I would say.

Havenīt tried the 2nd/3rd gear restriction disabling yet. Do you feel front wheel lifting easier? This is both for security aspect I think not to have unintended wheeling in curves and such. I also little bit concerned about squaring the rear tire off as ít does seem to wear quite fast anyway...

Letīs see in spring cause here up in the north there aren't that many days left of the season.

So the hanging around 2K is "normal" at colder temperatures? The KTM specialist will take that under investigation when he sorts out those sensors.

I was kinda reluctant to pull those wires out of the connector too. But the KTM specialist told me it was only for exhaust emissions reasons. So I did it (and have spare AMP connectors should I mess up) and I must say it's quite noticable. But only when you want to accellerate fast (so twist the throttle open fast) and it feels more like you're on a 2 stroke dirt bike: you feel the front fork expanding and becoming very light. No power wheelies - yet -, unless you help a little with clutch. Am riding stock gearing, so one tooth down in the front will make it a wheelie king.

And yes: rear tire is wearing fast. But I only can blame myself for that....
