Husqvarna nuda 900/900r

Has any Duke 690 rider been tempted by one of these. I know KTM have taken over the marque from BMW, and it's a shame they're not going to do any more Huskie road bikes but if I can find one of these in Portugal I may buy it instead of the 690 when I sell the Uly. I think the Rotax engine may be more durable. And I like to keep bikes a long time.

Im a Husky fan, love the bikes always have......even when the kickstart was on the left. Regarding the Nuda Ive spoken with people that love it and others that hate it. All had their own reasons but theres never been a general consensus, its always an individual issue like fueling, tracking, suspension etc. I guess its one of those bikes that comes down to the personal preference. Unsure the prices over your way but for $14,000 its probably better to throw money at something else like the Duke 690 R, the Duc Hypermotard or the new MV Brutale 800. But thats just me.

Is that price in Australia for the base model or the R? I'd go for the base model as the R's front brake sounds scary. Also depends on whether I can find one. Quite possibly not. The base mdel in UK is highish 8Ks so that's about 9K in euros and you can add IK euros more to account for higher Portuguese prices so around 10K euros, about what the 690 costs in the R form.

high 9ks in euros, I meant plus 1K so high 10Ks. Not cheap but neither is the 690R. And I fancy the extra cylinder on such a light bike.

If I was living in Australia, I could get a 1100 EVO SP for less than I paid for my little 2012 Duke. It's sad.

Really? Thats madness mate, I understand some of the reasons behind different prices but sometimes its just blatant money grabbing.
