Best trackday tires for a 990SD?

I am replacing my OEM Dunlop Qualifiers and I have had some good use out of them (these are the first tires EVER I am replacing because I worn the side out before the center). What a the best trackday tire without going to a full on slick? Longevity not an issue, road use not really an issue. I generally ride in the intermediate group, and I don't see this changing anytime soon. Any recommendations?

Tire issue is like having to choose miss world between all finalists. In the end, there is good stuff in the market but final desition relies on personal feelings.

In my opinion, good tires allover are michelin power 2CT or metzeler M5. Just close your eyes, buy some soft stuff and try.
