I've heard they're lighter (2 pounds +/-) than standard but haven't tried nor know nobody has, therefore, can¡t help much, sorry.

On my sport bike I used Michelin pilot power 2CT and were the greatest tires I've ever used. Also heard many good comments about Metzelet M5. THese last ones will be my next duke's tires.

I had a set on my CBR 900RR and they was great. Only one down fall is they wear out fast but they would stick to the road.

It's been a quite a while. How'd they work out?

I think I'm going to try the Pilot Road 3 next. These Dukes are brutal on rear tires. I'm currently using a Conti Road Attack rear which lasted longer than the 2k miles I got from the stock Dunlop and the same from a Shinko Advance. But it's dying at 3k miles (at best). Maybe the Road will last for 4k miles. I gotta believe the Pure was history at 2k miles.

The power pures have been good, got 6000km out of the back and just fitted a new one. Front still loks good.

I want to try the new Bridgestone BT016 pro's but they are not making them in the 160 60 17....yet. I have been hassling the NZ bridgestone guys to get them when the are available

Tried the Conti Road Attack in an attempt to get at least 3k miles from a rear, but didn't quite make it. So now I have a Pilot Road 3 rear on my Duke. I haven't done more than commute on it yet but I must say that the profile feels well suited to the Duke; nice and neutral. I'm really hoping to get 3 or even 4k miles out of it. We'll see. I've got a Shinko 005 Advance front tire which seems fine. Probably try a Pure front next when the Advance dies.

I put 2k miles on the pures and there is plenty of tread left.
Those tires are pretty sticky, cant tell if the 2lbs weight save make a different.
The purrs are not great on the wet, but you can defiantly ride on on wet roads with them.
I ride with 28 psi ate the front and 29 psi at the back.
it's December now and if I had to replace tires I will try the roadsmart for their performance on the wet.
