ktm Duke 2 horn problem!..HELP!

Hi,

I have a ktm Duke 2 2002 ...I bought it this summer.
I tried out the horn and it sounded like it was toasted (broken).
So i bought a new one put it on and what do u know the same sound came out of it.

I found that funny so i unscrewed it from the bike held it in my hand while trying it .....Geuss what it worked fine....So i unplugged the new one put the old one back on (allways holding it in my hand)it worked perfictly...
I noticed when we screw the horn back into its original position the sound of the horn sounds broken again ....

Did any of you notice this with your ktm duke 2 2002....

I wonder if when you mount it, the horn "bends" or deforms so the
sound is not good.

I have the same issue with my '02 640e.

Thats exacly it ....But when it is mounted its at its original position..

Its when u tighten the bolt the horn sound goes down alot ...When u loosen it works perficaly....

What to do ????....There is probably nothing really ...

I put one of these between the mounting bar/arm and the horn, rubber
side toward the horn. Not perfect, but you can hear the horn now.
