Default No Duke in USA for 2011

No Duke or SM 690 except enduro R for the USA. And no Superduke either. And I thought their support was bad last year. I'm starting to worry about my decision to buy a Duke from them last year.

I used to see many of the "naked" bikes in the parking lot at work.

Bandits, Monsters, a few Dukes. Last year or two I think the trend
is going to more up right riding position. More folks are riding to commute to work, and save gas money, and that mean long rides on the highway with no
fairing.

Just my two cents.

Well I still see a bunch of Monsters, less Street Triple and Speed Triple. Naked was never great in the State mostly because of marketing. The young guys want to look like Hyden riding sport bikes, the "less young" guys like Tourers, GS is selling pretty good, and of course the HOG guys that do not really care for any type of bike other then HD.
I still see Duke on KTM USA line up (ktmusa.com), and last month I sent an email to KTM regards the Duke 690R. They replied back that the 690 is available in the US but the 690R is not. Shame, I really wanted to get the 690R, hard to buy the 690 when you know that the 690R exists....

Thumbs up

Great! our used values just went up due to model 'rarity'.

I just sent another email to KTM asking about 690R over the US. Perhaps, some of the US members can keep on sending emails to KTM, so they will know that there is a market for the Duke over the US. I can't believe that there is more demand for the duke 690R in Canada.
