Default Bazaz now has a fuel programmer for the Duke 690!!

So Bazzaz Performance has come to the rescue with the only REAL fuel programmer for the Duke 690. I was fortunate to be the first to have the unit installed on my bike, and I’m very impressed! It’s their Z-Fi MX model with the self-mapping feature.

I think that this is truly the best option, and perhaps the only option in a fuel programmer for the Duke. The software that comes with the unit is brilliant, powerful and simple to use. The self-mapping feature is amazing! Connect your lap top, chose self-mapping, close the program, disconnect from the bike, ride, re-connect to the computer, and the unit will download a map for YOUR bike, and the way YOU ride. No need for a dyno. BRILLIANT!! Now with my Leo Vince can, the bike runs great!

They were extremely professional, helpful, and easy to deal with, and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend that everyone at least consider this solution, you will be happy you did!!

PS: I am on no way connected with Bazzaz Performance, other than being a customer for life!!

Sounds great!

How/where did you mount the new exhaust sensor into the exhaust? Does it replace the stock sensor?

Left the stock sensor in just to plug the hole, and the new sensor went in on the other side of the header.

So I assume that you welded a fitting into the header for the new sensor? Are the threads on the new sensor different than the stock one?

Did Fish drop off the planet? He posted the exact same post on the same date in supermotojunkie and described a stalling problem and then vanished. Maybe his bike stalled and he got run over.....

Is he the only Duke owner to try the Bazzaz?

on bazzaz.net they advertise a unit specifically for the 2011 Duke. I've got a '10. Guess I'll have to call them. If anybody knows anything or of any threads about it let me know.

I found interesting info about the Vortex ecu but it is only offered for the SMC and 690R; not Duke.

I got one on my bike. It works on all models. Mine is an 08'. I got mine dynoed with it but 1 week later it started to stall out. The RPM's would go below 1.8k. It only happens if I rev it really high then let go of the throttle. The bazzaz withe the dyno gave me more power but eventually I'll need to get the bike on the dyno again and see If the guy can straighten out my problem. I don't think it's necessarily the fault of the Bazzaz just an issue .It ran a little smoother though.

Interesting product. After checking out there site it appears to me that two items must be purchased, the ZF-1 piggyback ECU unit and the ZAFM-self tuning module for a grand total of $680. Awesome looking product but not cheap, sort of like the duke itself.

So it looks like if you use them both together they will work on any year model. They even offer a welding service to install the bung.

Nope. Didn't get run over, yet! Call Bazzaz, ask for Joseph Buxton. Great guy, and he'll tell you all you need to know. The system works. It works great! I'm about to put one on my WR250X.
