no problem here 'coz it does make sense but i'm already leaning on the left side and my thigh is already partially on the seat so i'm guessing switching from left to right isn't going to be easy. am i wrong?

I too am "vertically challenged" and ordered a Corbin seat for my 08 Duke. I had them make it narrow and lower in the very front of the seat so at stops I can slide forward and get a solid foot down. When riding I am back on the thicker, more comfortable section and it works great. I wouldn't screw around with lowering the suspension and adversely change the good handling. Corbin is a little pricey but not compared to the cost of changing the suspension. I also think the Corbin is a lot more comfortable than stock seat

I also ride a Yamaha WR450 dirt bike with a 38 inch seat so I'm use to being in a near crash scenario every time I stop. It's Hell being a Stubby.
