This happened about 8-9 times and then it just wouldn't start. I pushed it a mile to a gas station, the last 1/4 mile was slightly uphill. Full leathers and my Sidi's, in Florida . Put a gallon in and rode it to the dealer. Ended up being a bad fuel valve and although there was still a gallon or more in the tank, it couldn't get to the side with the fuel pickup so it died. If it sat long enough, some fuel would transfer to the other side and it would start and run for awhile.
My fuel valve are ok.. When i brought my bike to the dealer the first time it happened, the mechanic taught me how to check the fuel valve flow.. It was alright..

According to them, my fuel pump is faulty.. Apparently when the temperature is high, it will stop working.. Happened to one of the 690 smc here.. Unfortunately, they do not have the spare in stock and have to wait about two weeks to a month for it.. Provided the warranty claim is approved by KTM..

Only one day holiday lah bro.. Anyway, Selamat Hari Raya and Hari Merdeka..
