Carefully read most above stuff before DIY. Having done the homework you are in for a treat. All you need is a PC(laptop) and a cable like this:

Thinking of taming the jerky throttle by new throttle cam e.g. G2?

Using TuneECU the throttle response configuration is available for your convenience.
Feel free to adjust the EPT map to your liking. With a bit of smoothening of the curves it made some positive effect in taming the throttle.

The G2 noticeably helped mine, but it doesn't work miracles.

So last weekend I had my bike dynoed and tuned with the tuneecu, Much more adjust-ability compared to the bazzaz, the tuner disabled the o2 sensor and also the bazzaz with the tuneecu and so far it runs better, Mad I wasted money on the Bazzaz I'm just going to throw it away.

Reading here and there about stalling issues. It may depend on individual characteristics for every bike.
My Duke had occasional stalls even at stock. Pretty much the same with the LeoVince exhaust. More so with DB-killer out. Even after loading Akra maps the stalling was occuring from time to time. Most on pretty hard decel and before stopping at traffic lights and such.
But now I have modified the mapping myself using TuneECU in the lower part of the L-maps (Air Pressure). Since then, no stalling.

Adjusted low pressure(high vaccum) by increase values gradually by up to 4% towards the end in the lower end hPa under 2900 rpm.

NOTE: If you might be experiencing gradually more and more stalling there might be issues with proper fuelling due to clogged fuel filter/pump or injector and you will have to sort this out first.

Default G2 Cam Size

Just learning about the G2 Cam, and see it's available in different configurations. Can anyone advise as to which one they purchased and comment on the results?

Default EPT or EFI

Studying the TuneECU site for various maps, I see some listed as EPT and others as EFI. EFI obviously means Electronic Fuel Injection. Can anyone tell me what EPT means? Any ideas as to which map to choose? Several are listed for standard and for Akro setup.

It appears from reading that the 690 uses both the EPT AND the EFI Maps? Anyone care to comment please...

Another link of interest about stalling: http://www.monomaniacs.nl/tnt/KTM-69...hrottle-issues

I'm only in the reading phase, so apologies if this sounds a bit basic... Where is the socket you plug the TuneECU USB cable into on the bike?

Cheers

It's under the seat in the back just by the air intake.
