Roadrogue, I'm with you. Why they won't release in the U.S. is beyond me. So what if it might not be a big seller? There would still be a demand.

Yeah I'd like to know if they will release it in the US. Are KTM quitting the US market in general? They seem to be ignoring us and I don't know why. I like the bike but I wish they had made an R version....

I just heard the KTM are dropping from the US AMA pro superbike races. Its probably days before they stop the entire road line over the US removing the RC8 (the SMT was already removed from KTMUSA.com website).
Shame, the Duke is by far the most capable road bike I ever had.

Hi all... I am new to duke 690. I need some advice from you GURUs out there on this bike. I just purchased a 2009 KTM duke 690 from dealer. This is a new bike but has been sitting in the showroom since 2009.

I just managed to find out about these forums and read a few problems of the duke 690.

1) since it was manufactured in 2009... Are the tyres stil ok?
2) I understand there are problems with the rocker arm...should I worry about this?
3) what other common problems I need to know?

Any advise from u guys appreciated.
