690 Duke turkey run

Took my new Duke to southeast TN for a long Thanksgiving weekend. Good weather that Friday & Saturday, so got in some great rides on the Cherohala Skwy, rt360 & a few others, chasing my brother on his Ducati 620. Bike had less than 100mi. on it when I went up. Can't see them very well in the pics, but bike has Oberon bar-end mirrors on it. Bought the bike new and had it shipped to me from a dealer in TX. Came without mirrors. The Oberons are working out well, but a bit small. Have the 60mm version and should have gone with their 75mm model. Just that extra 6/10th of an inch would have made a big difference, I think. They are very well made though and are built in to their own bar-end, so no extra clamps to put on, like the CRG's. I'll take a close-up pic of them, if anyone is interested.




I have the preload cranked up pretty well and this thing will lean over forever... tires were worn out to the shoulder and pegs never touched down, nor my boot, which was sometimes halfway off the peg going into the corners. Tire has between 3-400mi.s on it in that pic....
