Changing front sprocket

I want to go down a tooth on my front sprocket because I have way too much top end. I rarely ever hit 6th. As I look through the service manual for the 690 duke it says nothing about how to remove and install the front sprocket...... Why the **** would they leave that out?? It says "If the rear sprocket/engine sprocket are worn: Replace the rear sprocket/engine sprocket". How the **** am I sopposed to do that when it doesn't explain how?? So frusterating how they just leave **** out. Sorry for the rant but omg.

have you looked at it yet? alot of times there is just a bolt and washer that holds it to the shaft.......

Well what are the torque specs? Do I need to apply loctite? Any other weird proprietary KTM things i'd need to know about? I can't just go at it with a pair of pliars and hope it comes off right.

It looks like the consensus is 80nM, with loctite 243 (blue).
