exhaust mask
Anyone have any tips or tricks to line up the plastic exhaust mask? I just installed a Leo Vince Exhaust on my 690 and I can't get the proper alignment on the rear two bolts. Thanks in advance!

You've probably finished this by now, but if not.... I put the same exhaust on mine, about a month ago. The front cowl was the single hardest part of the install. You need to make sure all of the exhaust mounts(front to back) are somewhat loose, before lining up those last brackets. I did mine by myself, but it's a lot easier if you have two people; my brother helped his son install one a week after me, and said it was a lot easier when they did it how I suggested.

You're looking at around $650, at most places. KTMtwins sells them.
This company has them on sale now for $550-

Leo Vince
A while back there was a thread about a sale at Leo Vince. The link took you to a page which lists 20% off ($499.). It says, "until November 30". But since the link is still accessible, I've wondered if they still might meet the price? It might be worth asking. The link is here: http://www.leovinceusa.com/main/news...20_percent.php
If they honor the price, how about letting us know.

€ 402,00 brand new in the box from German Ebay. Cheap bargain, eh?
Fitment was straightforward, you have to loosen up the bolts from the exhaust pipe to the cilinderhead just a little, line up everything nicely without strain, tighten again and you're fine. Fitment of the rear is a bit tight indeed and the front supports might need a little "adjusting", but a little tweaking solves that.
Once you have fitted the systems without strain and without the LH front support touching the engine casing, it feels and looks very smart.
You need to remap, that's for sure, but after that's done you'll notice the difference (less snatchy < 3.000 rpm, but still not a "thumper"). Revv that engine and you'll blast through the turns.

What do you mean by "adjusting"..Do you have to reshape anything..?

No, just had to bend it a little to prevent the support touching the crankcase. Quality and fit of the Leovince is fine. No drilling, widening up, reshaping or making your own support. Ever tried to fit aftermarket tail exhaust to a Duc 9xx?
Just go for it.
