New RC8R owner in Florida

Hi all!

I posted up in the "Starting Line" thread, but I think an introduction here is appropriate as well.

I picked up a leftover 2010 RC8R 3 weekends ago. Such an awesome machine. A bit rare too. Everywhere I go with it, no one has ever seen one in the flesh before. Gets a lot of attention, as I'm sure you've already experienced.

There aren't a lot of us around and the web resources are scant. Because of that, I also joined the UK KTM forum. Since they've had the RC8 longer, there's more information there. Noticed this weekend their site seems to be down. Anyone else tried to log on?

Anyway, I'm very happy to be riding this fine machine. Hope to learn a lot from those who have gone before me, and in time, maybe I'll be able to contribute something as well.
