Default 2010 RC8R Red Bull Dyno Tune and HP/TQ pulls ...

2010 KTM RC8R Red Bull Edition with full Akra header, exhaust, SAS removed and high flow intake. DynoJet was set with 15% brake.

Bazzaz Z-Fi and AFM installed. After a simple TPS calibration with the Bazzaz diagnostic software, it took only 15 minutes to self map with a target AFR of 13% ! AFR's and Fuel %'s were very close to the base RC8R slip-on map provided by Bazzaz.

See video of Bazzaz Self Mapping on DynoJet here:

After retrieving the new data and applying to the base map, the bike ran great with tons of pull throughout the RPM range and the twitchy throttle at low RPM actually smoothed out a little. No more backfiring or popping on deceleration either !

We did a few pulls after the mapping and recorded 89.18 ft-lb of torque and 156.53 HP with 93 octane pump fuel. See Dyno print here:

Thanks,
DP

Sweet!

Did you do a base run before mods for comparison?

no, unfortunately I did not dyno before mods ... I was too busy running her through the break-in miles before I put any of the mods on. Only reason I dyno'd was to remap the AFR's. It would be interesting to see if the mods provided any significant differences.

Thanks,
DP

The club race kit is advertised to add 10h. So the only difference in yours sand the kitted one is the Head gaskets and the degreed cams. So I would guess about six or so hp. Ip noticed mine really winds better with the air filter and EVO 4 exhaust. No head gaskets yet for me.
