Default GB Racing frame sliders

Anyone have these?

The manufacturer says that they will not fit the "R". I don't understand why. The engine exterior, frame and fairings are the same aren't they?

Default They will fit the R ...

I have them on my 2010 Red Bull. They are nice and blend in well with the bike. No modification required. I got mine from www.ktmtwins.com for $173.

Cheers,
DP

Excuse my ignorance, but is the Red Bull version the same as an "R" as far as the frame, fairings and exterior of the engine? These are the only factors that I think would affect fittment from one version RC8 to another.

Yes, the Red Bull Limited Edition Race Replica is the RC8R with the graphics package and club race kit, it will fit your R.

Default How about the 2011 ???

Just wondering if anyone has put these GB Racing frame sliders on a 2011 model?

I have a 2011 I just purchased and am interested in these, but their website is a little confusing, regarding model compatibility.

I have e-mailed them to confirm, but no reply yet.

They will fit the 2011 model, no problem and no mods required, just a bolt on and quality is good. They sit pretty high on the bike, will not save your fairing or clutch cover in a fall, should protect the tank well. I'd recommend the RG Racing aero frame protectors for maximum protection, they are expensive, but so is your bike ;-) requires drilling hole in your fairings, though location is optimal for maximum protection. I have these and they look good too.
