I'm 6'2" and about 250lbs. You will not look like a clown, the RC8 is not small, like an Aprilia RSV4 and does not have a bent over riding position like the Ducati 1198. The reason I bought it is I'm 49 years old and its the most comfortable modern sport bike I've sat on. With the adjustability it has with the footpegs, subframe and clipons, its very comfortable. I think you will be very happy with it.

Im 6' 1" (not nearly 200 lbs though) but I can totally vouch for the ergonomics of this bike. Extremely comfortable, I can ride this on the highway with no weight on my wrists, cruise without getting cramps in my legs etc. You can adjust it a 100 different ways which is awesome. Thank you for your service, we all appreciate it very much!

avthatsme,

Here is a link to our sister site in the UK. Guys on this thread are stating that even at 6'6" the RC8 is comfy. Look at around post #838.

And as bryank said, thank you for your service. Post some photos when you get back of your new ride.

Default The RC8R is perfect for us bigger guys

I am 6'4" and 210. This is the best fitting bike I have ever owned. I considered the Aprilia, Honda, Suzuki and others. They were all cramped feeling. I bought mine last month and it draws stares moving or sitting still. The grungy 1200 twin is a beast, and it runs! Unlike the always problems with Ducati and Aprilia bikes which always seem to have electrical and stalling problems. Been there and done that. This is just about the perfect bike so far. I can ride all day long and no pain. And I have a wrist with plates and screw and a leg with pins.

I think its a general consensus that this is the most comfortable sport bike out there, especially for anyone over 6' tall. Its the most comfortable one I've ridden in a decade and the reason I bought it, otherwise I stick with naked bikes as they are more comfortable.

I also have an Aprilia and Ducati and have never had electrical issues or stalling problems with either, the Aprilia is a 2004 and the Ducati is a 2010. Must be lucky I guess.

I agree.

This bike has the most adjust-ability of any of the other offerings. You can make it fit you. Even the seat, which feels pretty hard to the touch, is good for all-day rides.

I'd say that if you can't get comfortable on this bike, there is not another superbike out there that you will be more comfortable on.

Buy it. We need more members here!

Great! Welcome to the fold!

You will notice ample heat coming off the right side. I actually burned my leg above my boots the first week I had it (I was wearing jeans). I've developed a work-around since then. One of these days I'll post it up.
