I have to move to West Coast and can't take with me. Bone Stock 2010 KTM RC8R with 1,800 miles any idea what she is worth?

Kelly Blue book only shows the RC8 not the R model. In excellent condition it lists for $14040.

Yeah I'm a contractor, so will be living in San Francisco in a hotel for a while. Don't have a place to keep it. I brought it to a dealer just to see what it's worth, a guy in the store offered me 13,500 cash. With the price drop on the 2011 the bike really depreciated. I rode the 2011 and what a difference, vibration is gone and power band seems a lot better.

I'm thinking take the cash and when I can get another one in a couple years.

Find a way take it with u man, I lived in east bay for a short time and there is secure storage everywhere for cheap! Or talk to the hotel manager, they may help you with a secure spot during your temporary stay, or park it and lock it. You are not going to get what you want for it, especially going into the fall season. If u are coming back to where u are now, store it there. Just hate to see someone get lower that market value for that type of bike. I can call some friends I know in san jose or Dublin/pleasanton and pull a favor. I have a friend with a garage in the city, Berkley area.

It's worth absolutely nothing. In fact, you might have to pay someone to take it off your hands. In that case, I will be happy to help you out.

Seriously though, sorry that you have to part with it. With 3 other bikes in the garage, my 8 doesn't get ridden much, but I would really miss it if I had to get rid of it.

don't know how long you'll be in CA.

google bayarea rider's forum. I'm sure someone can help you with storage. LOTS of riding outside SF. go north into marin co, go east to the sierras, go south hwy 9 hwy1.
