Default Making the Akrapovic Evo 4 exhaust quieter

I have the full club race kit installed on my 2010 RC8R. It is too loud for my taste and I was wondering if there was a way to make it quieter.

That inner, smaller tip is the silencer I believe and should be removable if you have that setup. If u indeed have the FULL race kit installed including the thinner head gaskets, valve/cam adjustment per spec, it will be rather loud, especially at load (I would love it personally), u may want to have the adjustments dialed back, but make sure u trust the person doing it. I think there is a KTM dealer in Mass or Maryland that's been racing the RC8R and has experience tuning the LC8 motor. If your muffler does not have the silencer, get it.

Race muffler, EVO4 and EVO6 do not have a baffle or provision for one, as they are RACE mufflers. The EVO for the street has a baffle.
