Alternator Output
Does anyone know the alternator output of these bikes? Looking for information such as peak charging output, peak rating in amps at what rpm or other measures, etc.
Thanks
Greg

I've asked a RC8 guru on another site, will post his answer when he replies.

I appreciate that!
I am asking as I like to ride street late in the season and want to see if the alternator can handle any heated gear and if so, how much.

Yes - I am confused too, but I can't say I am any more or less confused than when I first posted

I like the 1.2 gigawatts answer better, but 390watts works for me! That is actually a good number for a sport bike.
Thx - don't know if I will go ahead and look at Bentley's like we talked about (going to Pgh next month) but maybe go up to the dealer in East Hanover, NJ

Hanover recently moved to a facility about 1/5 the size of the former location. Not much on hand for street KTM.
Bentley's just happens to have the inventory - personally, I wouldn't let them do anything to the bike for me but they do have the product.
Based on my negotiations with them, I'm sure you could snag one of those new 2010 RC8's for $10,500.
Tdel's issue was a trade-in quote gone bad.
If you're buying "cash", who cares? You just need someone who has the unit at the right price.
BTW, I rented an Enterprise cargo van to pickup my Akra - it was very cheap.
If you want, I could stop by there tonight and see what they have - their internet listings are....unreliable.
Let me know.
