According to KTM, the EVO4 is designed to work with the RC8R Club Race Kit as well as the Superstock and Superbike engine kits only.
Also, it's important to note that the installation of the Club Race Kit ends warranty coverage for the bike receiving the installation.
The EVO1 does not require the kit and does not affect warranty coverage.
Another difference is about $900 less for the EVO1.
Peformance wise?.............
Since the kit came with my Akra, that's what I'm installing.

Different diameter pipes as well. A standard bike will not benefit from the Evo 4 as its designed to work with different cam timing and mapping to get the full effect.

Make sure that if you get the EVO 1 or EVO 4 system that you get your ECU's map flashed for the appropriate system as well...
