smaller front sprocket and r throttle cam

Hi there i'm in the uk and getting a 09 new rc8 in a few weeks and was wondering if the sprocket and throttle mod are worth doing .I test rode a bike and it seemed ok in traffic and i will be using mine for commuting a lot .I was thinking i can get the dealer to do the mods before collecting it but want feedback from other rc8 users cheers in advance
