Basically both the E model and the SXC are LC4 620cc KTMs.
Your bike came with a high flow head and a Keihin pumper carb, while mine
came with standard a head and a constant velocity Mikuni carb.
The SXC is a bit faster out of the crate, but the E model with the CV carb
is more suited to working a great elevation changes without adjusting
the carb.
The E model also has the dry sump oil system the spin on filter on the bottom
of the steering tube, and a cartridge filter in the engine.
I believe the SXC has two filter, on in a housing behind the cylinder, and one
in the engine.
My XR650r was a fun bike, but was a pain to start when hot or really cold.
I think that out of the crate my 640e with the electric start and upside down
forks, cush hub is a better dual sport, while the XR650r was better for
strictly HIGH speed desert riding.
The 450EXC is totally in a different class and really can't be compared.
