Default 300exc carb overflowing constantly

i just noticed today that my 1999 300exc is constantly pissing gas out of the overflow.i think its the float in the bowl stuck but i just wanted a few more opinions before i take it apart. i just rode it today and i wasn't really hammering on it i took it off a small jump a few times but i was only getting 4-5 feet off the ground so i didn't think that did it, but i didn't do it when i first started it so something must have happened to it while i was riding it. any ideas?

It is your float. Mine does this from time to time. best way to knock it loose. just knock on the side of the carb with the butt of a hammer lightly, or just ride it. It will shack loose. no need to disassemble.

We had to tow my buddies XR600 because he lost all his fuel out
the carb overflow, and any fuel we added just poured out.
16 mile tow down the Valle Trinidad portion of the Baja 500 course.

When we got it to the chase truck, we found that the rubber tip
on the float needle was disintegrating, so it would free flow.

Just my two cents.
