i can't say i've seen that exact set up, but allot of times there's an allen wrench bolt i the bar ends and when you loosen the bolt it depresses a spreader inside the bar tube that holds it in.

Sometimes if it's wedged in, you can give the handle bar end a
love tap with a hammer handle.
