Default changing plug on SX 400

I just picked up a 2002 SX 400 and I'm changing fluids, tire, etc. OK, what is the trick to changing the spark plug? It seems to be in the head at an impossible angle to get to?

What does this have to do with pulling a spark plug.

Hudson you will need to take the tank off, at least on my 2003
450 you did. You are right though, it's not set up for easy removal.

Thanks Bajadog - I figured that the tank might have to come off, but was wondering if there was a trick to do it without removal. Off with the tank!
