03 450 exc

Hi I'm a newbie and I'm just looking for help. Getting an 03 450 exc just wondering if any one can share some knowledge.
1. Any recommended upgrades?
2. The bike is in need of a new sticker kit - where can I buy one from and will a 450 sx 2004 sticker kit fit or any other years/interchangeable sticker kits?
3. Any tips for the bike?

Welcome.

Get fork bleeders if you don't have them, those
48mm forks are notorious for over pressurizing and
leaking if not bleed.

Change your oil (not filters every time) every 10 hours
with good synthetic (I use only redline or royal purple).

If you ride a lot of slow technical riding, you WILL
boil out coolant.
I got this for my EXC. KTM still does not use overflow bottles.

I don't think you can use '04 and up sticker kits, because of the
one piece side panel rear fender design in '04.

Thanks heaps for that I'll pick those up when I get the bike, just about the sticker kit for an 03 450 exc, do you know where to get a decent one from? Thanks a heap

I found this on a site does it mean the tank graphics of an 2001-04 sx will fit my 03 exc 450? Thanks

I am pretty sure that the fuel tank shroud graphics are the same between
the SX and EXC, at least for '03.
