Road Legal EXC. Questions.

Hi,

I've been looking at a getting a 2011 road legal exc. I don't have a bike license but I do have a 2006 CR125 and love off roading. I like the look of off roaders which attracted me to the EXC.

I believe the EXC's are 2-stroke right? Are they like an off road bike i.e. having to kick start and having a powerband?

I would ideally like to travel around the UK a bit on it and do a bit of touring. I've heard of people touring china on KTM's ... the uk is tiny in comparison. But is that something that the bike will manage ok?

I think you should look at the 450 Four Strokes for those purposes, or even the 525 that is already street legal. Light, powerful, and will cruise at freeway speeds!

Like Woodsrider said, 4 stroke 450 or 530 EXC are street legal.

I doubt they make a street legal 2 smoker (I am guessing UK emissions are strict also like US).

third or fourth that, I just bought the 450 exc 2011 its great, I was cruising at 75mph with a 14 front and 48 rear. great for freeways, and great in the dirt.
