street/sport touring use for 04 exc 250 4stroke

Just wondering if the 4stroke engine of the 2004 ktm 250exc can hold up for long rides like daily commutes (25 to 30 kms of riding) and occasional weekend rides of maybe 200 to 300 kms of riding. Would this wear the engine out so much? Thanks

You will need to change the oil OFTEN, and keep the valves in adjustment.

I would say that yes, this will shorten the engine life.
