Hey I am new to the forum and new to KTM, actually check out my post in the new member section loads of pics.
Just bought a 06 525 exc-g...
Any way I want to put a supermoto conversion on my bike and ride it on the streets. So I am looking for a key switch to put on the bike, that will turn on head light and tail light also when the bike is not running. I live in Wisconsin and this is a necessary add to have it street legal.
Wondering if the 07 key switch will work with the 06? I am also looking for a wiring diagram for the 07 that shows where all the wires go from the keyed ignition.
I have read several posts on other forums on hiding a switch or the like, but that is not what I am looking for. I need to know how many wires come out of the 07 keyed ignition switch and how to wire it. I have a cycle zone dual sport kit on the bike and already wired in from purchase but the tail light and head light do not come on until I start the bike as there is no key.

Also any way to tell if my bike has the stator mod or a new DC stator installed in it with out pulling the side cover and fly wheel? The dealership I purchased it from didn't know if it was done, this bike is loaded full of stuff so I am guessing he would have done it seen he has the KTM cooling fan mounted and also the PMX headlight conversion.
