Wink Plastic Swaps

Ok, guys I have a 2003 525 sx and I am in the process of buying parts to convert to the newer 04-07 rear section.

From what I understand I just need the following:
04-07 SX Subframe (125,250,300,400,450,525,540)
04-07 SX AirBOX (4 stroke model airbox only)
04-07 SX/MXC rear fender

My questions are:

1) Are you guys sure ANY SX subframe wiil work even the 2 stroke 125 ?

2) Once I have completed the swap can I run the 08-newer rear fender, it appears to bolt up the same?

Thanks,
Gino

I'd agree with your list of parts to replace, but am not aware
that all SX subframes from '04 on are identical.

I'd call Chip Munn at Munnracing.com to be 100% before I spend
the $ on a 125 SX subframe.

In terms of the SX bikes, the 07 - 2010 are the same bike chassis/plastic wise.

06 and previous was slightly different, it's not noticeable when you see it in pictures or in person even, but trust me, its different enough the plastics won't mate up.

So the only difference from 03 to 04-06 is the rear fender/airbox/subframe ???

Or do I have to buy the seat as well?
