electric start KTM EXC help

Hello guys,

I am trying to start my EXC 250 with the E-start but not success but when I try with the kick start it starts at the first or second try

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I had the same issue with my '03 RFS bike.

Believe it or not, it was the exhaust valves being
tight.

When did you last check the clearance?

Thats what I thoug will do a valve check this weekend, when that happened to you had Problems with the e-start? and easy kickstart?

Not 100%, but at least eliminate that possibility.

If that doesn't work I know a few guys have had problems with their torque limiter causing this issue. If you type in KTM torque limiter issue you will see how to fix it.
