300exc gear oil

im not sure what weight oil to run in my 300exc. the manual says 20w 40 but the only 20w 40 amsoil makes is for natural gas engines. they make 80w-90 gear lube could i use that?

If your manual calls for 20W-40, the proper AMSOIL product is MCF 10W-40
