hi baja, yes I ran it. I'm still slow. The 300 Gasser has all it needs to compete, excepting a better rider.I suppose I'll get better. Maybe. There were alot of 2 strokes there! Even some 125s ! The guy pitted next to me, was on a 2000 model KX125, that was bored and stroked. I'm thinkin of doin that to a new GasGas XC125. The KTM pumpkins were there in force! But, the overall winner was riding a 2t Husaberg 300. Mike Lafferty, is a master in the woods for sure. The weather was perfect, and MD Competition Riders put on a great event. I heard there were 130 entries! The owner of Wicomico Motorsports told me that they will be having more D7 HS events there this year. Anyone who remembers the harescrambles course @Budds Creek, will be familiar with this one also. They are very similar. I'm told there will be an additional 1.7 mile loop added in later. This is great news for us in southern MD. Since John stopped having HS events @Budds, we haven't had any races to get to without driving 3 hours,at a minimum! Now, if we could get another KTM dealer in our area ... or Husaberg, or Husqvarna.We do have a GasGas dealer though !
as for Stew, I think he's doin something else. I had to get "back into" the mod section on the FZ6 forum via different access recently and someone else assisted.The spammer battle continues! I'll pm you their info/name.
