Default New KTM 990 long range fuel tank???

Just wandering how many of you are interested in adding an extra 30 litres of fuel to your 950 / 990 / 990s KTM?

This tank has now been patented and developed here in Australia to be released in February 2009. The tank sits behind the rear of your seat, above the rear tire; between the exhaust pipes. The filler is located behind the quick release latch for your bike seat once you remove it.

The tank is ceramic coated for heat resistance, has internal foam baffles to prevent fuel from swishing around, comes with a braided fuel line and connection into your existing fuel line, works on the gravity feed principle, can be easily removed and installed without fuss.

These tanks may also be available as part fuel part water storage. CAN'T BE SEEN ONCE IT'S INSTALLED, YOUR M/BIKE LOOKS AS PER NORMAL.

You can now do the longer trip without worrying about running short on fuel. One visit to the gas station has give us almost 600Km's of riding.

I think I remember Bikebandit's similar post on ADVRider.

Had the same results.
