Ktm exc electrics wanted (aus)
Hi there,
I have a Ktm 525 exc 2003 model which i picked up for a steal at $600 and alot of sucking up to the missus. I am planning on doin a trip to the cape in june next year and have started the mammoth task of getting the big girl registered. The bloke i bought it off had stripped it of nearly all the electrics ie, headlight, indicators, rear fender and lights, tacho and ofcourse when i bought it he couldn't find any of the stuff he took off. I've been ringing around Australia tryin to find wreckers that have said parts but am not having much luck. I recently borrowed a freinds KTM 250 exc 07 and experimented with the parts off of it on my bike and they seem to all fit.
If there is anyone out there that has any 00-07 model exc that wants to get rid of there electrics ie wiring loom, front head light, rear tail light and brackets, tacho or has one of these parts please let me know. I would rather pay good money for a good second hand one then try to convince the missus that the "bargin ktm" needs a new $350 tacho haha.
