Default HJC RPS-10 Mugello Full Face Helmet

One of the lightest Snell-approved helmets to come through our hands, the RPS-10 Mugello gets the nod for a real step in the right direction from HJC helmets. Starting with a shell that’s molded from a combination of organic fabric, aerospace grade aramid and pre-preg fiberglass twill, only six people at the factory are skilled enough to operate the machinery required to make it right. The molding process is key to the helmet’s light weight because it precisely places the various layers of the shell with minimal overlap and requires no excess (and unnecessary) bonding agents to get each layer to adhere to each other. Inside the helmet, a SilverCool Plus interior liner is fully removable and washable and at the microscopic level, is treated with heavy metals which slow the growth of bacteria and thus, reduces the presence of foul odors. Adjustable vents on the front of the helmet allow the user to dial in the precise amount of cooling air which work with channels that are part of the helmet’s shell and liner to keep your head from getting too hot. A Pinlock-ready visor with an integrated quick-change mechanism is standard with every RPS-10 helmet.

You can read more about the RPS-10 here and then call Mike at 866.931.6644 ext 804 to order. You can also email us with any questions you have – send those to MICHAEL at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with HJC RPS10 MUGELLO in the subject line and please be sure to include the size you want and we’ll get back to you right away.

The RPS-10 Mugello MC-1.

The helmet’s interior liner is fully removable and is designed to draw moisture away from the skin to keep your head comfortable and cool.

At the front bottom center of the visor, a simple locking mechanism keeps the helmet from popping open when looking sideways at speed. It can easily be operated with a gloved hand.

Snell M2010 and DOT approved.

A large spoiler on the back of the helmet helps exhaust stale air from within and reduces buffeting at speed. Also notice the depth of the paint scheme and how closely the graphics lines up over the spoiler and air intake.
