Default Alpinestars Matrix Kevlar Jacket

As part of Alpinestars’ City Collection, the Matrix Kevlar Jacket has a toned-down appearance when compared to other Alpinestars riding jackets, but still offers a high degree of protection in a comfortable chassis. Engineered cotton is used in the outer shell to provide flexible protection to the wearer. We call it engineered cotton because the thread is coated with a polyurethane plastic that increases not only weather resistance, but also abrasion qualities too and ultimately, enhances the longevity of the jacket. In areas that are most likely to come into contact with the ground in the event a crash (elbows & shoulders) an internal Kevlar lining further enhance the abrasion resistance of the PU-coated cotton outer shell. Best of all, this jacket includes Alpinestars’ latest CE-certified Bio Armor in the elbows and shoulders. This new armor is thinner yet has better impact protection than the thicker pieces they replace, making it not only more protective, but they also make the jacket a more comfortable affair on and especially, off the bike.

Available in sizes small to 4X-Large, you can read more about the Alpinestars Matrix Kevlar Jacket on our website or just call Mike at 866.931.6644 ext 804 for more information. We’re email-friendly too, send a note to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with ASTARS KEVLAR JACKET in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away.

Alpinestars Matrix Kevlar Jacket comes in this peat green color.

To aid in ventilation, a trio of button-holes under each shoulder let just the right amount of air through.

With exception to the smaller branding, little gives away this jacket’s true purpose. The low profile armor is barely noticeable and this Kevlar-lined motorcycle jacket could easily be mistaken for a cool-weather coat.
